The Project Lifesaver Foundation is pleased to announce that the First Annual Project Lifesaver Charity Golf Tournament was a success. The tournament was held Thursday, April 19th at Bull Run Golf Club in Haymarket, VA.
70 golfers participated according to Rick Rahim, Executive Director of the Project Lifesaver Foundation. The tournament raised in excess of $22,000 for Project Lifesaver.
The winning foursome consisted of Jay Lakhat, Philip Poston, Dean Catino, and Nino Gaggi. The Longest Drive trophy was awarded to Annie Ballantine. Daniel Hung won Closest to the Pin.
Three Project Lifesaver helicopters were on display throughout the day; and a barbecue dinner was hosted by Kevin Rychlik, President of American Helicopters. Additional major sponsors were the Taylor-Drew Group of Merrill Lynch, Communications Systems, BusinessVentures.com, and Nextflight.
All proceeds from the tournament will benefit Project Lifesaver, a 501(c) charity. Donations to Project Lifesaver are tax-deductible.
