First Annual Project Lifesaver Charity Golf Tournament to be held April 19th at Bull Run Golf Club.

April 5, 2007.

Great Falls, VA.

The Project Lifesaver Foundation today announced that the First Annual Project Lifesaver Charity Golf Tournament will be held Thursday, April 19th at Bull Run Golf Club in Haymarket, VA.

"We're very excited to host the tournament at such a prestigious golf course," said Rick Rahim, Executive Director of the Project Lifesaver Foundation. Bull Run Golf Club is rated among the top 100 courses in the Mid-Atlantic, and was nominated "Best New Public Course" in 1999 by Golf Digest.

Anyone interested in an exciting day of golf is invited to register for the tournament.

The tournament begins at 1:00 PM and is a shotgun start. Tournament format is Net Best Ball. Boxed lunches will be provided, and a barbecue dinner is included after the tournament. During dinner, trophies will be presented to the winning foursome. Additional trophies will be presented for Longest Drive and Closest to the pin.

Several Project Lifesaver helicopters will be on display throughout the day; and there will be a silent auction. Auctioned items will include autographed sports memorabilia, a two day golf outing to North Carolina, helicopter flight lessons, helicopter rides, and much more.

All proceeds from the tournament will benefit Project Lifesaver, a 501(c) charity. Donations to Project Lifesaver are tax-deductible.

To register for the tournament, players may complete the online registration at:
